European Software Institute (ESI) is a non-profit private technological center launched as an initiative of the European Commission, with the support of the Basque Government and leading European companies working in the Information Technology field.

ESI's main activity is based on helping the software industry in their objectives of producing better software of a higher quality, on time, in the best way and at a lower cost. ESI offers consultancy and training services as well as technological support using its highly qualified team of experts and a worldwide alliance network.

ESI also develops a wide range of initiatives directed at promoting the development of the Information Society through the use of ICT for citizens and enterprises, especially <acronym title="Small and Medium-sized Enterprise">SME</acronym>s and micro-enterprises.

The Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) is a federally funded research and development center headquartered on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States . Since 1984, the SEI has served as a global resource in software engineering, networked systems survivability, and process improvement. The SEI provides technical leadership to advance the practice of software engineering so that software-intensive systems can be acquired and sustained with predictable and improved cost, schedule, and quality. The SEI program of work is conducted in three principal areas: management practices, engineering practices, and acquisition practices.

The best-known example of SEI work in management practices is the SEI’s Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for Software (now CMMI) .

SQI Hungarian Software Quality Consulting Institute Ltd. is an independent consulting company, having a high professionalism in the field of software quality management. It does not exclusively engage itself by the side of any model, standard, method or techniques, nor by the side of any company being their provider. The Institute wishes to correctly inform the Hungarian market about existing trends in the field of software quality. It helps the software companies choosing, implementing and operating the approaches, standards and models best fitting their own needs. SQI emphasizes its strong connections to the academic sphere and to top-organizations doing research in the field of software quality. It acts as link between researchers and software technologists.

PDQM Limited (Process Data & Quality Management) has been established with the goal to help customers with the management of processes and projects. PDQM consultants have many years experience in the implementation of common standards CMMI® and EN ISO 9000:2000. Except the software development area PDQM helps with the organization of complex processes that requires real-time management (Telecommunication or Media).
